Treasures in Ice...

This is a great idea to have for the kids to do on a hot day. It's free and easy to do. I made it on Sunday afternoon and didn't realise it was going to be so hot the next day. It was 35 degrees and Jack was playing outside in a bucket of water. You should have seen his face when I bought out his "Treasures in Ice".

They are so easy to make and here is how I did it.
Get a plastic container, any shape or size, as long as it fits in your freezer. Fill the container with water, then place treasures in the water. I used a bag of farm animals but next time I am going to use a bag of bouncy balls.

When it's frozen. Pop it out of the container and grab a hammer.

Jack trying to scratch the animals out.

Found the horse...

More cool smashing...

Oopps..... Must have hit the cow a little bit too hard. Maybe don't put any expensive treasures in there.
