Laura's 'eighties night' at youth...

Laura went to an 'eighties night' at youth and it was fun watching her dress up in 'eighties'. Oh, the memories... I did her hair the same way I used to have mine when I was dating Biggsie. She even looks like me.

Laura won 'best dressed' on the night...

Laura and Beck looked great. Laura was so cute. When she came home, she said, "Mum, the room was decorated with CD's hanging from the ceiling." Ummm, actually Laura, they are records and they were played on a record player with a needle. I'm feeling old about now...

I had Amy Grant, Michael Jackson, Breakdance... but that's another story.

Home haircut...

Jack wanted to have a go first... (These clippers were not turned on)

My Mum was teaching Laura how to cut Jack's hair. Jack thought it was so exciting to be the centre of attention and have Granny cut his hair...

It was so hard to get Jack to sit still so Laura had to hold him while Granny had the clippers on the back of his neck... (Mummy was too busy taking photos)

The interest soon wore off, as it does with most things this 4 year old does...

And then that was it... He'd had enough. C'mon Granny and Laura, cut faster... (and Mum, stop taking photos)

It was such a beautiful day walking along the beach. The sky was so blue and the weather was perfect. We watched sky divers land on the beach in front of the restaurant.

He was such a good boy. He loves being outside...

Toowoomba Flower Festival...

We went up to Toowoomba last weekend for the Flower Festival. The parks looked beautiful with all the flowers in bloom...

My hubby just turned 40. Hard to believe... I know...

I love this photo of him when he was little. He looks alot like Jack.

We had a party on the night before his birthday and invited some friends. We had just got back from New Zealand so we were a little over taking photos (that's why we don't have many of the party) Laura helped me decorate and made this amazing newspaper bunting that she hung up outside.
